25 returnees still in home quarantine, 21 fined in Chuadanga

A total of 25 returnees are still in home quarantine in Chuadanga. According to a press release signed by Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chuadanga Nazrul Islam Sarker, at least 523 returnees of abroad were kept in home quarantine. Out of them, 498 returnees are released gradually. At present 25 are in home quarantine.

Meanwhile a mobile court fined Tk 22, 650 to 21 persons. Five mobile courts were conducted at different point of the district separately on April 5. The courts fined the 21 persons for violating the rules during the crisis.

A total of 271.50 metric tonnes of rice were distributed among 27150 home stayed workers in the district. Sale of rice and flour through OMS is also going in the district. A total of 10000 kgs of rice was sold among 2000 persons on April 5. It was sold at Tk.10 per kg through OMS. On the other hand, 5000 kgs of flour were sold among 1000 persons. It was sold at Tk 18 per kg.
