24 marginal youth get police job in Gopalganj

Keeping in view the great vow of “Not a Job, but service” 24 people from the marginalized group of Gopalganj got jobs in Bangladesh Police on the basis of merit and qualification after spending only Tk 100.

Among them there are 21 young men and 3 young women in different rooms. The recruitment process has been completed on the basis of merit and necessary qualifications under the direction of the Police Headquarters.

This year, the first Trainee Recruit Constable Recruitment Examination has gone through 7 stages and only physically qualified candidates have taken part in the written examination. 

After the publication of the results of the written test, the results of the oral test and then the final list of the recruits have been published.

To this end, last Friday (November 26) night, Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Ayesha Siddiqa published sthe results of the recruits at the drill shed of Gopalganj Police Lines. Later, she greeted all the new recruits with flowers and sweets.

Earlier, Superintendent of Police Ayesha Siddiqa expressed her sincere thanks to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Under the direction of IGP Benazir Ahmed and overall supervision of Dhaka Range DIG Habibur Rahman with 100% transparency, impartiality and professionalism to maintain the image of the police without any corruption or irregularities the recruitment was done, she added. At the end of the oral examination, the recruitment process has been completed on the basis of complete merit and qualifications.

According to the rules, the recruits have to spend only 100 rupees for the bank draft. Hundreds of young boys and girls lined up at the Gopalganj Police Lines to take physical exams, written exams and viva exams as per the rules. At this time the Superinten­dent of Police completed other tests including height for each applicant.

Earlier, a warning was issued from the Superintendent of Police regarding the appointment of constables. The warning warns that the recruitment of constables will be done on the basis of merit and qualifications. 

She said that if any kind of bribery is done then the candidate will be considered as invalid and also he should not do any financial transaction with anyone. In addition, those who could not be recruited were advised to continue their efforts and not to be upset. 

Additional Superintendent of Police Abdur Rahman, Md Sakhawat Hossain, Md Khairul Alam, Sadar police Officer-in-Charge Md Monirul Islam, a group of media workers working in print and electronic media in the district, candidates of Trainee Recruit Constable Recruitment-2021 and their guardians were present during the release of the results.
