The total number of Covid-19 patients stands at 2,930 with the detection of 225 new cases in Rajshahi division during the last 24-hour. Four more Covid-19 infected patients died in two districts of the division during the same time, informed Dr. Gopendranath Acharya, Director of Health of Rajshahi division on Wednesday morning.
Of the deceased, three belonged to Bogura and another to Naogoan. So far, 38 patients have been killed with Covid-19 infection in the division, of them, 22 belong to Bogura, five in Pabna, one in Natore, four in Naogaon and three each in Rajshahi and Sirajganj districts.
Of the 225 newly detected patients, 186 are from Bogura district, 11 in Rajshahi district, four in Natore, one in Joypurhat, 20 in Sirajganj and three in Pabna districts.
Among the total 2,930 Covid-19 patients detected so far in the division, 1,702 have been detected in Bogura district, 156 in Rajshahi district, 238 in Joypurhat district, 220 in Naogaon district, 232 in Sirajganj district, 212 in Pabna district, 90 in Natore district and 80 in Chapainawabganj district.
Director of Health further informed, so far 620 patients have been recovered from the Coronavirus infection in the division.
