With seven more deaths from Rajshahi, 21 more patients died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital during the last 24-hour period ending 6-00 am Tuesday.
RMCH Director Brig Gen Shmaim Yazdani informed, of the total dead, seven are from Rajshahi, fiver are from Pabna, four from Naogaon, three from Natore and one each from Chapainawabganj and Jhenaidah. 11 of the dead are males and 10 females.
With today's death, the total death toll at the Corona unit of the hospital stands at 505 from Juky-1 to July-27.
RMCH Director further informed a total of 55 new patients have been admitted to and 40 were released after treatment from the Corona unit of hospital during the last 24-hour period. A total of 399 patients are getting treatment at the unit as against 513 beds on Tuesday.
After testing samples of 413 persons at RMCH labs, Corona virus has been detected among 93 persons. The detection rate of the virus is 22.52 percent.
