Md Masum Reza, UNO of Faridpur Sadar Upazila, distributed sewing machines among two helpless women in the UNO office on Wednesday. The sewing machines were distributed with the collaboration of “Creating Spaces” project of Population Services and Training Centre (PSTC).
Khadija Begum and Runu of Hamirdi Union of Vanga Upazila of Faridpur district received the machines. The programme was chaired by the Executive Director of PSTC, Dr. Nur Mohammed. Upazila Cooperative officer, Biraj Mohan Kundu, Upazila Social Service Officer, Md. MahbubrRahman, Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Shahajahan Molla were present in the occasion.
Amongst them, Project Coordinator of PSTC, Rezaul Islam, Project officer Md. Ferdous, Anamika, Pabitra Kumar Mondol and change maker, mentor and helpless women also were present in that programme.
