Two teenagers were killed in road accidents in Jatrabari and Shonirakhra area in the capital on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman Siam, 19, resident of Shibchar upazila of Madaripur and Mohammad Naim, 14, resident of Jatrabari.
Sub-Inspector of Jatrabari Police Station Mohammad Iqbal Hossain said, “Being informed, we recovered the bodies and sent them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy”.
He said a truck hit street boy Naim at Jatrabari intersection, leaving him dead on the spot and a private car knocked a motorcycle at Shonir Akhra area, leaving Siam dead.
