Due to reluctance movement of a corona virus affected employee of Shailkupa upazila health complex (UHC) in Jhenidah, another two of the employees were tested positive. The result was available on Sunday from fro the office of the civil surgeon in Jhenidah. Te authorities have locked down the said two houses at last.
But the people in Shailkupa had demanded punishment to the statistician who had allegedly carried his sister in law in an ambulance from Dhaka and attending office regular hided the information.
The newly affected are community health service provider Tuhin Malita and storekeeper of the health complex Masud Rana. The authorities have locked down their houses immediately after the result was found positive.
Locals and a number of employees of the UHC said the first corona affected statistician Bakhtiar Hossain along with his sister in law returning from Dhaka, hided the information and serving at the UHC normally.
As the officials and employees and including the upazila health and family planning officer (UHFPO), physicians, nurses, health service providers came contact to him; some of them might be infected with the deadly disease anyway.
The employees said they are feeling insecure when three of the UHC staffs tested corona virus positive. A number of people when contacted expressed their reaction about the unethical activities of the first ever affected employee Bakhtiar Hossain. They had demanded punishment to the statistician for his evildoings as he had served at the UHC for a several days.
The hospital authorities sent a number of samples to the concern authority for testing where a helth service provider Tuhin Malita and storekeeper Masud Rana were test positive.
Shailkupa UHFPO Dr. Rashed Al Mamun when contacted said they had locked down the houses of two newly affected staff. But they could not decide to shut the UHC.
Civil surgeon in Jhenidah Dr. Salina Begum when contacted admitted the test positive results of her two more staffs at Shailkupa UHC available on April 27 (Sunday).
