A total of 2,01,086 students, including 1,04,423 girls, are going to appear in the forthcoming Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rajshahi scheduled to start from February 3 (Monday).
According to the board sources, the students will take part in the examination from all the enlisted institutions in 260 centres in all eight districts under the board.
The board authority has taken all-out preparations to hold the examinations properly and in a positive manner.
As part of the preparations, the board management held a view-sharing with all 260 centre secretaries and others concerned at the board conference hall here on Sunday.
Board Chairman Professor Mokbul Hossain, Secretary Dr Moazzem Hossain, Controller of Examinations Prof Ariful Islam, College Inspector Habibur Rahman and School Inspector Debashish Ranjan Roy addressed the meeting.
Prof Mokbul Hossain urged the attending centre secretaries and others concerned to discharge their duties keeping close coordination with education board and district and upazila civil and police administrations for successful holding of the examination.
He also urged them to follow the examination policy and guidelines strictly to attain the cherished goal of making the examination peaceful and successful.
