2 injured persons rescued from border

Two injured persons were rescued from Thakurpur border area in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga district on June 27. The injured persons were identified as Kadom Ali, 35, son of Esahaque Ali and Babu, 30, son of Abdus Samad of village Thakurpur in Damurhuda­upazila of the district. 

Angur Bhuya, camp commander of Thakurpur BOP of BGB-6 said   hearing the shout of the locals, BGB personnel rushed to the spot, found one injured person Babu, took him to Chuadan­gasadar hospital for treatment. But locals took another injured person Kadom Ali to ChuadangaSadar Hospital for treatment.     

Camp commander Bhuya said according to the statement of the injured person Babu that they entered into Indian territory for buying cows illegally. BSF detained them, bit them seriously and dropped them into the territory of Bangladesh border area.

Mohammad Khalequzzaman, Director of Chuadanga BGB Battalion-6 said locals shouted  at the top of their  voice seeing the injured persons lying on the ground, hearing the shout, BGB men rushed there and took one injured person Babu to Chuadanga sadar hospital. 

Another one Kadom Ali was admitted to hospital by the help of locals. BGB will take necessary steps for more investigation about the incident. 

Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, medical officer of Sadar Hospital said Kadom Ali has been referred to Rajshahi Medical Hospital for better treatment.
