Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) 6 members detained two persons with 75 bottles of Phensidyl and 2 kg of cannabis conducting separate drives at two places in Chuadanga on Sunday night.
Around 10 pm a RAB team led by Md. Kamaluddin, Company Commander and HM Shafiqur Rahman, Squad Commander raided C & B Para under Chuadanga's Darshana Police Station and detained Imdadul Hoque, son of Kiamot Ali of Kurulgasi village under Darshana Police Station with 75 bottles of Phensidyl.
The same team rushed to Akundabaria village under Darshana Police Station and arrested Abul Kalam, son of Abdul Natib of Ramnagar village with 2 kg of cannabis.
Two separate cases were filed with Darshana Police Station in this regard and the detainees were handed over to police along with the seized Phensidyl and cannabis.
