Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Muslim Musa and Ismail Hossain in separate raids in Noakhali's Sadar and Begumganj upazilas. At that time 16 swords, 12 cocktails, 1 single-shooter, 1 boat fork saw, 1 chisel, 1 chapati and 2 knives were recovered from them.
The information was given on Monday morning by RAB-11, CPC-3 Ladhipur camp company commander Additional Superintendent of Police Khandaker Shamim Hossain. The arrested are Muslim Musa and Ismail Hossain.
According to the RAB, a raid was carried out at the house of Hafiz Ullah's father in Char Kaunia village of East Charmatua union of Sadar upazila on Sunday night. During the search, Musa was arrested with 1 knife, 1 single shooter, 1 boat fork saw, 1 chisel, 1 chapati and 2 knives. During preliminary interrogation, he confessed to being involved in various terrorist activities.

On the other hand, on the same night, a special team of RAB raided the graveyard area of Master Bari in Talibpur village of Chayani union in Begumganj. During the raid, the team arrested Ismail from the side road of the graveyard. Later, based on the information given by him, 15 swords and 12 cocktails were recovered from a nearby place. He said that the cocktails were stored with the aim of creating panic in the minds of the people through explosions.
Officials said that there were multiple allegations against the arrested gunmen in their respective police stations. Separate cases will be filed against them in connection with the recovery of arms and explosives. The RAB's operation against terrorists and gunmen will continue.
