Darshana Thana Police seized 95 bottles of phensidyl worth about Tk 3,90,000 and arrested two persons on charge of keeping illegal drugs from Rangiyarputa village in Darshana Thana of Chuadanga district on Saturday
The arrestees are identified as Ripon Miah, son of Rokim Mia and Rokim Miah, son of Moslem Miah of village Rangiyarputa in Darshana Thana of the district.
According to press release of RM Foyzur Rahman, Superintendent of Police, on information a team of police, led by Biblob Saha, OC of Darshana Thana, raided two houses of Ripon Miah and Rokim Miah, after searching recovered 150 bottles of phensidyl from Ripon’s house and 45 bottles from Rokim’s house. So police arrested them from their houses on charge of keeping illegal drugs at their houses.
A case was filed in the connection with Darshana Police Station on the day.
