Police arrested two drug dealers Mohammad Ainul Islam (35) and Shri Sujan Chandra (30) with 1 kg of cannabis in Boda upazila of Panchagarh on Monday night.
A special team of Boda police station arrested them on the basis of secret information from in front of Boda Maidandighi No. 1 Shalshiri Madrasa with 1 kg of cannabis and an Apache motorcycle.
The arrested Ainul Islam is the son of Kabir Hossain of Maidandighi Betbari village in Boda Upazila and Sujan Chandra is the son of Paresh Chandra Roy of Bamakali village.
In this regard, Officer-in-Charge of Boda Police Station Md Abu Saeed Chowdhury said that a case has been filed against them under the Narcotics Act 2018. They has been sent to jail through court on Tuesday.
