2 dengue patients found in Jashore

Two dengue patients have been identified in Jashore amid the Corona epidemic. They are residents of Abhaynagar upazila of Jashore. 

Abhaynagar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr SM Mahmudur Rahman Rizvi confirmed the information on Friday.

Dr SM Mahmudur Rahman Rizvi said, a 50-year-old man suffering from dengue was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night. He is the husband of a senior staff nurse working in the Upazila Health Complex. 

Another dengue patient is a resident of Chalisia village of the upazila. He was diagnosed with dengue this morning and is being treated at his home. The health department's concern has been heightened by the identification of dengue patients amid the increase in corona infections, he added.

He said health workers at all levels, including doctors and nurses, were working tirelessly to keep the situation under control and ensure the best medical care for the victims.

Dr SM Mahmudur Rahman Rizvi has requested everyone to live according to the rules of health.
