A two-day event titled Best Research Article Award and Research Workshop 2025 has begun at Chittagong University (CU), organized by the university’s Research and Publication Cell.
The program commenced on Monday at 10:00 AM at the auditorium of the Institute of Marine Sciences and Fisheries. The four-session workshop and award ceremony will continue until Tuesday at 3:30 PM.
The event is being graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yeahia Akhter, Vice-Chancellor of the University, as Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Shamim Uddin Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic), and Prof.r Dr. Mohammed Al-Amin, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, are attending as Special Guests.
The sessions are chaired by Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin, Director of the Research and Publication Cell and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration), along with Prof. Dr. Sheikh Aftab Uddin, Convenor of the Research Workshop 2025 and Director of the Institute of Marine Sciences.
This event has been organized to promote excellence in research, enhance the quality of academic contributions, and recognize outstanding researchers at the university. Renowned scholars, early-career and mid-level faculty members, and key university administrators are participating in the workshop.
