A mobile court of Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) conducted drive and demolished 150 illegal establishments from MPB Gate to Navy Gate in the port city’s New Mooring Taktarpool on Monday.
Port's Authorized Officer and Executive Magistrate Gautam Barai led by the drive with the help of Assistant Estate Manager Muhammad Shihab Uddin, other officials and 20 workers and 11 Ansars. Illegal occupants were being evicted from the port area as part of their regular operation and the campaigns will continue, Shihab Uddin said.
