With four more deaths from Rajshahi, the total death toll at the Corona Unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital stands at 14 during the last 24-hour period ending at 6 am on Wednesday.
Director of RMCH Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani informed among dead four are from Rajshahi, one each from Chapainwabganj, Kushtia and Chuadanga, three from Naogaon and four from Natore districts.Of them six are males and eight are females. He further informed 48 more patients have been admitted to the Corona unit of the hospital during the last 24-hour period and 30 left the unit after being cured. A total of 402 patients were under treatment at the unit of the hospital till Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile the number of identification of Corona patients has further decreased in Rajshahi as 84 persons tested positive after testing samples of 337 persons in two labs of RMCH during last Tuesday. The rate of detection of Coronavirus is 24.93 percent as against 27.74 percent the previous day which is 2.81 percent less than the previous day result.
