The government has set up 14,000 community clinics across the country with a view to providing healthcare services to rural people as well as newborn babies as the government is pledged-bound to ensure a safe, secured and world with equality for all the children.
“Apart from providing pregnancy and maternity care, these clinics are also providing emergency healthcare services and 30 types of medicines at free of cost at the doorsteps of rural people.”
State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatunnesa Indira came up with the information while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the three-day Asia Pacific Regional Early Childhood Development Conference 2019 at Hotel Melia, Hanoi in Vietnam om Wednesday, said a press release.
Mentioning community clinics can play a vital role in the healthcare of neonatal and the early development of a baby both the mental and physical, Indira said, “Asia Pacific Regional Early Childhood Development Conference 2019 will serve as an important platform for all of these areas to work together and exchange cooperation and experience among the countries in the region.”
This year’s conference attracted 500 delegates from 35 countries and territories and aimed to bring about strong awareness among policy makers and practitioners of the substantial threats to young children’s present and future environments. Speakers at the event exchanged experiences to ensure better education for all the kids as the theme of the conference is “Working across sectors to promote nurturing and sustainable environments for young children”.
