Tungipara UNO Mohammad Nakib Hasan Tarafdar receives a donation cheque given by 136 freedom fighters on Tuesday.
In response to Corona crisis, 136 Freedom Fighters of Tungipara upazila of Gopalganj have donated a cheque worth Tk 1 lakh 30 thousand to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund.
The cheque was received by Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Nakib Hasan Tarafdar at Tungipara Upazila Parishad auditorium on Tuesday morning.
Tungipara Upazila AL unit President Sheikh Abul Bashar Khair, Upazila Parishad Chairman Mohammad Solaiman Biswas, esteemed Freedom Fighters and others were present at the time.
