A total of 13 patients died of Coronavirus infection at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital during the last 24-hour period ending 6-00 am Saturday.
Brig Gen ShamimYazdani, Director of RMCH informed of the dead, seven are of Rajshahi, three of Natore and one each from Chapainawabganj, Naogaon and Pabna districts. Nine of the dead are males and four are females. With the deaths the total number of deaths during the last three day stands at 52.
Meanwhile, the Coronavirus infection has decreased to 15.66 percent during the last one day. After testing samples of 374 people of Rajshahi in two PCR laboratories of RMCH, Coronavirus was detected among 100 people's samples, which is less by 15.66 percent than that of the previous day. The rate of detection of Coronavirus on Friday is 26.74 percent which was 42.40 percent on Thursday while on Wednesday last the detection rate was 39.90 percent. However a total of 467 patients were taking treatment at the Corona unit of the hospital as against 405 beds on Saturday.
