13 employees infected with corona in Ctg Customs House

Chittagong Customs House a major revenue earner in the country's main import-export sector was working day and night under the corona situation.

All officials and employees have worked at the risk of corona to keep the country's economy and revenue in motion. Very recently 13 officers and employees of Chittagong Customs House were attacked by corona virus. Besides, a former general secretary of Chittagong C&F Association has died of corona.

The matter has been confirmed by Chittagong Customs House Assistant Commissioner Nur A Hasna Sanjida Ansuya.

He said that 13 officers and employees of Chittagong Customs House were attacked by corona while on duty. Many more samples were sent for testing.  Corona victims include Revenue Officers, Audit Investigation and Researchers, One Stop Service, NI Branch Computer Operators and officers of various sections.

The whole port and the customs huse are in a state of panic as the corona has been attacked in this way while performing their state duties. 

Many officers and employees are isolated at home with corona symptoms.

However, the work is going on at Chittagong Port and Customs House 24 hours day and night even in this situation. 

The officials and employees of this sector are working to keep the wheel of the economy moving by ensuring health protection as much as possible.
