The 12th founding anniversary was observed through colourful programmes on Friday .
A cake cutting programme with a discussion was arranged at Ishwardi Press Club Auditorium to mark the day. Galibur Rahman Sharif, MP, from Pabna -4 constituency was the chief guest.
Educationalist and Advisor of the weekly Uday Nath Lahiri presided over the programme. The special guest of the programme was DG of Bangladesh Sugar Group Research Institute(BSRI) Dr Md Omar Ali. Among others, Ishwardi Poura Mayor Ishhahak Ali Malitha, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Mintu, Upazial Chairman (Acting) abdus Salam Khan, Ishwardi Press Club President Mustak Ahmed Kiron, and Vice- President Abdul Mannan Mintu were present there.

In the beginning of the programme one minute silence has been observe to honour the martyred of language movement.
