124 schools get multimedia in Bhola

Directorate of Primary Education distributed multimedia projector with sound system among 124 primary schools of Borhanuddin upazilas in Bhola district on Tuesday, reports BSS.

Officials said the digital equipments were distributed to launch academic activities in multimedia classrooms in the primary schools to make lessons easily understandable for students.

A function in this connection was held at the Upazila auditorium with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Khaleda Khanam in the chair. Local parliament member Ali Azam Mukul, MP, distributed the digital contents among the head teachers of the schools.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Abul Kalam Azad, Mayor of Borhanuddin municipality Rafiqul Islam, former Upazila Chairman Jasimuddin Haider and Upazila Vice Chairman Russel Mia, spoke, among others, on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion the UNO said the multimedia has been distributed as part of the government’s constant stride to improve the quality of primary education.

Multimedia will help the minor children getting classroom lessons more easily in a pleasant atmosphere, she said.
