12 police officers received the President and Police Medal of Bangladesh Police in 2020 and 2021 respectively in recognition of their bravery and heroic deeds. Among the medal winning officers are 6 from Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), 4 from RAB-7, 1 from PBI Chattogram District, 1 from Industrial Police and 1 from APBN.
This information was given in a circular signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Sirajam Munira on Thursday. Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to present the medal to the recipients on the occasion of Bangladesh Police Week.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the officers who received Bangladesh Police Medal and President's Police Medal working in Chattogram in 2021 are: SM Mostain, Deputy Commissioner of Police CMP, Nazmul Hossain, Superintendent of Police PBI, Obaidur Rahman Naik, RAB-7.
The officers who received the medal in 2020 are: Amir Zafar, Deputy Commissioner of Police CMP, Uttam Kumar Paul, Police Super Industrial Police Chattogram, RAB-7 Former CEO Lt. Col. Mashiur Rahman, Asif Mohiuddin Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police CMP, Nobel Chakma Additional Deputy Police Commissioner CMP, Mashkur Rahman Assistant Superintendent of Police RAB-7, Md. Zahir Hossain Inspector CMP, Shawkat Hossain, Constable CMP, Ashraful Islam Naik, RAB-7.
CMP Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police SM Mostain and PBI Chattogram District Superintendent of Police Nazmul Hasan received the Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM-Service) in 2021, according to the Home Ministry. BPM got late Monirul Islam, Constable, Traffic Police of CMP, Naik Obaidur Rahman working in RAB-7 received PPM Presidential Medal in 2021.
The Officers who received the President's Medal (Service) in 2020 are Uttam Kumar Pal, Superintendent of Police, Industrial Police, Chittagong, Asif Mohiuddin, former Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, CMP, Noble Chakma, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, CMP, Mashkur Rahman, Assistant Superintendent of Police, RAB-7, OC Akbarshah Md. Zahir Hossain, CMP Constable Shawkat Hossain, RAB-7 Naik Ashraful Islam.
