The total death toll at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital stands at 11 during the last 24-hour period ending 6am Saturday.
RMCH Director Brig Gen ShamimYazdani informed, of the total dead during last 24-hour, six are from Rajshahi, two from Pabna and one each from Natore, Naogaon and Kushtia. Six of them are males and five females. With Saturday's deaths, the total deaths at the unit during July-1 t0 24 stand at 422.
RMCH sources said, a total of 57 new Covid-19 patients have been admitted to the unit while 37 were released after treatment during the last 24-hour. On Saturday morning, a total of 419 patients are under treatment at the Corona unit as against 513 beds.
RMCH Director further informed Coronavirus was detected among 91 patients after testing samples of 140 people. The rate of detection of the virus infection is 65 percent.
