Eleven people were infected with corona virus in the last 24 hours, raising the number of patient day by day, which was confirmed by Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) on Monday morning.
Jashore University of Science and Technology Associate Director and Chairman of the Department of Microbiology, Professor Iqbal Kabir Zahid said that 11 corona patients were identified in the lab of Jashore University of Science and Technology on Monday.
‘Corona virus was detected in four people after the test of eight people in Jashore and four people were positive out of 39 in Jhenaidah, Three people were found positive out of twenty in Norail, and no new corona positive was found out of 11 in Magura district’ he added. In all, a total of 75 corona patients were identified in the lab of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST).
So far 29 patients were identified in Jashore, 14 in Jhenaidah, 12 in Narail, 6 in Chuadanga, 4 in Magura , 6 in Kushtia and 4 in Meherpur. Samples of people from seven districts are being tested in JUST Lab. Meanwhile, lockdown was imposed in Jashore from 8 am on Monday morning as per the decision of the meeting of the District Coronavirus Prevention Coordination Committee.
Jashore Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shafiul Arif said the number of people infected with corona virus was increasing day by day in Jashore. But there is no way to bring people under discipline as per government instructions. That is why the entire Jashore district has been locked down. This lockdown will continue until further notice.
