10 new cases of covid 19 was detected in Jhenidah. The number of persons infected with the deadly corona virus toll to 82 till Saturday, said the health department office sources in Jhenidah. The authorities on Saturday had locked down Samata Diagnostic centre in the town when they were ignoring the social distancing.
Civil surgeon Dr. Salina Begun said they receive the test report against 84 persons where ten were examined corona positive. Civil Surgeon said. Of the total seven belongs to Jhenidah Sadar, one in Harinakundu and remaining two in Kaliganj upapzila of the district.
Further, 43 out of total infected, had returned home safe after quarantine. As Samata Diagnostic centre was ignoring the social distancing when six of their staffs were infcted with the havoc, they had locked down the centre on Saturday, CS informed.
