The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has sealed a total of 10 clinics at Sadar upazila in Noakhali district for not having registrations.
Besides, those clinics do not have any legal documents, physicians, and technologists to serve.
A team from the district branch of the DGHS, led by upazila health officer Dr. Naeema Nusrat Zabin, conducted raids on Thursday in different areas of the upazila and closed those establishments.
The closed clinics are: The Dental Point, Ma Dental Care, Jamal Danta Chikitsaloy, Modern Dental Care, Noakhali Dental Care, Naschool Dental Care, Nipen Dental Care, Asha Dental Care, Megh Dental Care, Jahanara Dental Care and Orthopedic Centre
Dr. Masum Iftikhar, the civil surgeon of Noakhali district, said the raids would be continued in public interest.
