A man was killed in a collision between a bus and an easy bike in Gopalganj on Monday 10 am.
The accident took place in front of BSIC Bridge on Bangabandhu Road in Gopalganj.
The deceased was identified as village doctor Arun Biswas, 45, of Durgapur village under Chitalmari upazila of Bagerhat district.
Police sources said a town service bus of Tungipara Express Paribahan collided head-on with an easy bike coming from the opposite direction on its way to Police Lines.
Arun Sarkar, a passenger on board of the easy bike was killed on the spot while five more passengers of the easy bike were injured. The injured were admitted to Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital.
