With detection of nine new positive cases in all 10 districts of Khulna division, the total number of Covid-19 infected patients now hit 1,12,892 till 8.00am on Monday.
A total of 1,08,464 have been cured from the lethal virus infection and the recovery rate now stands at 96.07 percent," Assistant Director for Khulna Health Division Dr. Ferdousi Akhter said. The total number of Covid-19 patients rose to 1,12,892 with nine new positive cases were reported after testing 76 samples at the Khulna Medical College Laboratory and two others Covid-19 laboratories in Khulna division during the last 24 hours till 8.00am.

Of the total new positive cases, three each were detected in Jashore and Kushtia, two in Jhenidah and one in Khulna in the division, she added.
"Now only two corona infected patients were admitted in hospitals, now total admitted rose to 17,859, as 21 have been recovered in the division," said the health official.
