The new convening committee of the Trishal Samity has been formed with the residents of Trishal Upazila living in Mymensingh city.
The committee consisted of 13 members including Mymensingh Medical College Vice Principal, distinguished physician and spine and trauma specialist Professor Dr Md Matiur Rahman as convenor, Nasirabad College's former English Department Head Professor Azharul Islam as the joint convenor, and Mymensingh Divisional Press Club General Secretary and Daily Amader Somoy staff reporter Nazrul Islam as the member secretary.
The 13-member convening committee was unanimously announced at a special general meeting of the Trishal Association held at the Trauma Center and Specialized Hospital hall room at Baghmara intersection in the city on Friday night, presided over by Advocate Jalal Uddin Khan, former president of the Mymensingh District Bar Association of Trishal Upazila.
