Tigers eye on series victory

Published : 06 May 2024 09:42 PM

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will play the third off five-match T20 series when they will be   bidding to win the match, as it is the series decider encounter.

Bangladesh obviously is focusing on to settle the series in favoure of them when the visitors will desperately try to win the match at least to make comeback.

Zimbabwe appeared in the first two matches of the series as depressingly flat occasion, with the losing both the matches and trailing the series by 0-2.

It will be a different occasion for both sides, as for Bangladesh it would an opportunity to seal the series win with keeping two matches in hand and for Zimbabwe no option but to win to remain on contention in the series.

So Zimbabwe will be

anticipating for a comeback at least to make the series a

 bit competitive when they

could not produce good

performances in the previous two matches.

Bangladesh won the both the previous matches playing one-sided games but the concern remains with their top orders.

In the first match the opening stands departed for five runs with Litton Das got out for one run and in the second match the openers scored 41 runs when Litton scored only 23 runs but played 25

balls, which is very much disappointing.

Though Tanzid Hasan Tamim doing well at his debut with scoring 67 off 47 balls in the first match, though was not comfortable in the second match when struggled to score 18 runs from 19 deliveries.

Nazmul Hasaan Shanto has been struggling to appear with his real character when the captain scored 21 runs in the first after playing 24 runs and 16 runs off 15 balls in the second match.

When the Tigers will fly for USA after this series to play ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup and if this series is a part of preparations for the upcoming tournament, more than an upsetting issues with the top orders including the opening stands.

However, though the touring batting sides looked struggling but Tigers bowlers might be deserve some credits when they

just booked them for only 124

and 138 runs in first and second match respectively.
