Shakib Khan starrer big-budget film Taandob has officially received clearance from the Bangladesh Film Certification Board. With this, the film is now all set to hit cinemas across the country on Eid day.
The much-talked-about film is directed by Raihan Rafi and produced by Shahriar Shakil. It is a joint production of popular Kolkata-based production house SVF and Bangladesh’s Alpha i. After receiving the censor board’s green signal, expectations are high that Taandob might create a storm at the box office this Eid.
Confirming the news, producer Shahriar Shakil shared a post on his Facebook account on Tuesday evening. He wrote, “Congratulations to our audiences. Taandob arrives in cinemas on Eid Day.” His announcement was quickly shared by fans and well-wishers, adding more excitement to the upcoming release.
The film features Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan in the lead role. Noted actress Jaya Ahsan and popular young actress Sabila Nur also star in pivotal characters. The film’s star-studded cast and thrilling story have already drawn attention from movie lovers.
Before the release, the makers released two songs from the film. The title track Taandob and another song Lichur Bagane have already become popular among listeners. Especially, Lichur Bagane created quite a buzz online upon its release, with fans praising its catchy tune and lively visuals.
With a combination of action, drama, and entertainment, Taandob is expected to be one of the biggest attractions at cinemas this Eid. Industry insiders believe the film could give a much-needed boost to the local film industry, as audiences eagerly wait to see their favourite stars on the big screen again.
