Standard Chartered account holders can now use Bangla QR payment feature using their SC Mobile App.
The Bangla QR feature was introduced through a launch event where senior leaders of the Bank were present including P.D. Singh, CEO, India & South Asia; Naser Ezaz Bijoy, CEO,Bangladesh; Khaled Aziz, Chief Technology and Operations Officer, Bangladesh; and Faisal Haque, Head, Priority and Wealth Management.
Bangla QR, an initiative of Bangladesh Bank, is designed to establish a unified and interoperable payment ecosystem.
Standard Chartered Bangladesh is fully integrated with the National Payment Switch of Bangladesh (NPSB) and now also with the Bangla QRthat is facilitating seamless digital payments across the country.
The Bangla QR payment feature enables clients to make instant, secure, and seamless payments by simply scanning a merchant’s QR code with the SC Mobile App.
