Secondary schools to resume classes Saturday

From Saturday all secondary schools are advised to resume regular classes as due to heat wave normal class hour is being hampered. The Ministry of Education issued a notice regarding opening the classes in from Saturday. 

Before, all secondary educational institutions which remained closed due to severe heat conditions will reopen on Saturday. The Ministry of Education issued a notice on this on Thursday morning. 

It is to noted that Schools and colleges were scheduled to reopen on April 21 after the Eid holidays, but the closure was extended till April 27 due to extreme heat across the country caused by heatwaves.

It is really tough to attain regular classes during this high-temperature environment as the country experienced a record-breaking temperature from the past. A number of people had already died because of heat wave. Considering the health and safety measure the education ministry decide to close classes after Eid vacation. 

All the classes resumed on April 28 although there was no remarkable change in weather conditions, to keep free worrying parents, especially those of primary school students. 

The authorities extended the closure of primary and secondary educational intuitions till May 2 following a High Court order. Although the situation of weather is still unchanged. Because of continuous heat wave more than 30 people had died. In this severe hot situation all the students are advised to keep themselves inside the home and drink liquid more.
