Russia expressed its keenness to increase the number of scholarships for Bangladeshi students for higher education.
Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Mantytskiy expressed this interest in a bilateral meeting with Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury at the Secretariat on Thursday. It will be an opportunity for the Bangladeshi students to get such facilities in Russia.
At that time, the Russian Ambassador also expressed eagerness to solve the complexity of the equivalence of degrees obtained in Russian educational institutions and increasing opportunities for cooperation in nuclear engineering education and medical science degrees.
Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department Soleiman Khan, Additional Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department (University) Khaleda Akhtar and Third Secretary of Russian Federation Oleg Kozin were also present.
