National University (NU) has extended the final online admission timeline for students placed in the merit list of the Master’s (Regular) programme for the academic year 2022–23. Students can complete the admission form online and collect the printed copy from today.
The issue was confirmed in a notification signed by Professor Dr Fakir Rafiqul Alam, Acting Dean of the Centre for Postgraduate Studies, Training and Research, on Tuesday.
The notice stated that students who have already been admitted to any Master’s (Regular/Private) or Master’s Professional course must cancel their previous admission by July 3. Otherwise, it will be considered dual admission and their registration will be cancelled.
As per the admission procedure, students on the merit list will have to deposit Tk 835 as registration fee through designated mobile banking services or directly at the college. The last date for depositing the fees is July 13, and the college authorities will confirm the admissions online by July 14.
The directive also states that college authorities must verify the information and photos shown on each student’s form before confirming admission online.
It is also directed that any irregularities found in students’ provided information or photos must be reported in writing to the respective dean’s office.
Students who have been admitted must pay the National University’s prescribed registration fee portion (Tk 835 per student) at any branch of Sonali Bank between July 15 and July 21.
For this, the college authorities must download the pay slip and deposit the money into the designated account number.
