A meeting of the Reconstituted Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Al-Amin Islamic Banking Window of NRBC Bank PLC was held on Sunday at the Bank’s head office.
Sayed Mohammad Mosaddek Billah Al-Madani, the Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Committee, presided over the meeting.
The Members of the committee Md. Obaidul Hoque and Hafiz Mufti Saiful Islam; the Managing Director and CEO Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan and the Head of the Al-Amin Islamic Banking Window Md. Abdul Gofur Raana were present at the meeting.
The meeting featured detailed discussions on the bank’s Shariah compliance activities, Shariah-based investment and operational procedures, product and service development, and various Shariah advisory matters. It is to be mentioned that, in addition to conventional banking services, NRBC Bank provides a full range of Islamic banking services through all of its branches and sub-branches.
