The Department of Media and Mass Communication (MMC) at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) successfully organized the MMC Fest 2025 on the university campus. The day-long festival, held in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), turned the campus into a vibrant space of creativity, art, and youthful energy.
Students from different schools, colleges, and universities participated in various competitions and activities. The fest featured an On-Spot Painting Competition and an On-Campus Mobile Photography Competition, open to students from classes 9 to 12. In addition, a Poster Presentation Competition was arranged for both school and university students, providing young talents with a platform to express their ideas and showcase their artistic skills.
Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB, attended the event as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he appreciated the efforts of the MMC Department for organizing such an engaging program and encouraged students to continue nurturing their creative abilities. He also congratulated all participants and winners for their enthusiasm and hard work.
Among others present were Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Mohammad Zahidul Islam Khan, Registrar of AIUB; Dr. A. J. M. Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan, Advisor to the MMC Department; and faculty members, students, and guests.
The event concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, where winners received prize money, certificates, and special gift bags sponsored by Pantel. The awards were handed over by the Vice Chancellor. A colorful cultural performance followed, featuring dance, music, and recitation, which added charm to the fest and highlighted the diverse talents of AIUB students.
