In order to maintain the continuity of sports, physical and health improvement, Kachua Upazila Samity Dhaka has initiated the overall development of Kachua Upazila of Chandpur district.
Sports equipment was distributed among 60 educational institutions and social organizations in Kachua with the support of Dr. Aminul Islam, a member of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission and the president of the association.
The event was inaugurated at 10:30 am on Saturday at the auditorium of Manoharpur High School through distributing sports equipment.
Senior ASP Nabir Hossain moderated the programme with President of Kachua Upazila Samity Dhaka Dr. Aminul Islam in the chair.
The event was addressed among others by the association's adviser and general secretary of Nagarik Oikya, Shahidullah Kaiser, Kachua Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Bappi Dutta Roni, Upazila engineer Abdul Alim Liton, Upazila Academic supervisor AKM Sohel Rana. Shahjahan Majumder, member of Kachua Upazila Samity Dhaka, Mostafa Sharif Tito, member of the association and former chairman of Pathair Union Parishad, Sharfin Hossain, member of the association and former student leader, Rafiqul Islam, former president of the Secondary Teachers Association, Social worker Rtd engineer Emran Kamal, former chairman of Kareiya Union Parishad No. 9 Abdul Malek, government official of the association Abdul Bari (Barek).
and acting principal of Kareiya Government Degree College Soleman Mehdi on behalf of the teachers of Kareiya College, Fazlur Rahman, acting principal of Palakhal Rustam Ali College, Mahbubur Rahman, headmaster of Burgi High School, Fakhrul Islam, principal of Nishchintopur Kamil Madrasa, on behalf of the journalists of Kachua, the president of the Press Club Ataul Karim, and the headmaster of Manoharpur High School Abul Khair, were among those present.
Members of Kachua Upazila Samity Dhaka, teachers and students of all educational institutions and people of 243 villages of Kachua were present at the sports equipment distribution ceremony.
