Abu Layeas (62), former Deputy Director (Finance) of the Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) and father of senior journalist Jaglul Pasha Rusho, passed away at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital on Sunday.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter, grandchildren, and many admirers. His funeral prayer was held at the Kathgola Bazar Central Mosque on Monday after Zuhr prayers, followed by burial at the local cemetery.
Leaders from various sectors, joined the janaza. Mymensingh Divisional Press Club and other organisations expressed deep condolences and prayed for the departed soul’s eternal peace.
