IIUC board of trustees gets RJSC registration

The International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) has received approval for the registration of its Board of Trustees by the Directorate of Registrar of Joint Stock Companies And Firms (RJSC), Government of Bangladesh. The registration, which took effect from September 15, 2021, has been re-chaired by internationally renowned Islamic scholar, former Member of Parliament, Professor Dr. Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi.

The old registration of IIUC Board of Trustees led by Central Nayeb Ameer ANM Shamsul Islam of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been finally cancelled. Professor Dr. Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi was nominated as the chairman of the board of trustees of the university from the Ministry of Education in March 2021.

After the registration was approved, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IIUC Professor Dr. Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi said, "We have made the International Islamic University Chittagong a prosperity field of knowledge in the Asian continent. We have taken the initiative to build a suitable institution so that the students of this university can contribute to the international arena besides developing the talent and skills of the students."

Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi, the IIUC Board of Trustees has already implemented several development projects, including infrastructure development, the establishment of Bangabandhu Corner and Bangabandhu Research Center, and modernizing the academic system to advance in the world ranking.

The IIUC Board of Trustees aims to create an atmosphere of cherishing the spirit of the Liberation War and the ideals of Bangabandhu in the minds of the students. Various schemes for the moral development of the students have also been undertaken. By following all legal procedures, the IIUC Board of Trustees has received registration from the Directorate of Joint Stock Companies and Firms on April 4, 2022.

This approval of registration marks a significant achievement for IIUC, and it is a step towards advancing the academic system of the university. With the leadership of Professor Dr. Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi, the IIUC Board of Trustees aims to create an educational institution that will contribute to the international arena while developing the talent and skills of its students.
