A delegation from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), led by its President Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA, met with the Adviser of the Ministry of Commerce, Sk. Bashir Uddin, on Monday at his office.
During the meeting, the ICMAB delegation shared updates on the institute’s recent initiatives and discussed various issues concerning the promotion and development of the Cost and Management Accounting (CMA) profession in Bangladesh. The delegation also sought the Ministry’s support to enhance the role of CMAs in national economic growth.
The Adviser praised the contributions of professional CMAs to the country's economy and assured his full cooperation in advancing the profession.
Other members of the delegation included Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, Vice President; Hasnain Thoufiq Ahmed FCMA, Secretary; and Md. Mahbub-Ul-Alam FCMA, Executive Director of ICMAB.
