Glenrich International School, Satarkul has earned top honours at the STEM Innovation League 2025, held at American International School Dhaka (AISD). The school secured 1st prize in the engineering category of the prestigious inter-school competition.

A team of Grade 9 students — Syed Tahmid Bin Affan, Ayman Ahmed, and Zamel Idrk Ahon — proudly represented Glenrich Satarkul in the event. They presented their unique project ‘Glen Go-Kart’, a fully operational electric vehicle designed and built using PVC pipes, plywood, recycled motors, and other repurposed materials. This environment-friendly Go-Kart was the only functional prototype displayed in the engineering category, earning wide appreciation from judges and visitors alike.

The project was mentored by Dheeraj Daabi, Head of AI & Robotics at Glenrich Satarkul. Under his guidance, the young innovators showcased not only technical skills but also a commitment to sustainable solutions and creative thinking.

Vice Principal of Glenrich International School, Satarkul, Kumkum Habiba Jahan, expressed her delight at the achievement. “I wholeheartedly congratulate the winning team for bringing yet another accolade to our school. Our students are driving the future by building a cleaner, greener, and smarter world,” she said.

This success highlights Glenrich’s continuous focus on promoting STEM-based education and nurturing student-led innovation. Through initiatives like this, the school aims to encourage young minds to create practical, eco-friendly solutions and contribute to a better, sustainable tomorrow.
