BYD, a global leader in New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), unveiled the all-new version of its popular electric vehicle, the BYD Atto 3, at a launch event held at their flagship showroom in Tejgaon on Saturday.
The event was attended by key industry figures, including Hafizur Rahman Khan, Chairman of CG RUNNER BD LTD, and Imtiaz Nawsher, Chief Marketing Officer of BYD Bangladesh.
The new Atto 3 is powered by BYD's advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate Blade Battery, enabling quick charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes with a DC fast charger. The vehicle also boasts the e-Platform 3.0, improving performance, safety, and intelligence. The Atto 3 received a Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating and includes up to seven airbags, along with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for enhanced driver safety.
Notable upgrades to the Atto 3 include a premium Thaumas Black interior, ventilated front seats, and a sportier exterior design with black-housed headlights and 18-inch wheels. The vehicle is available in two variants: the Standard Range (345 km) priced at BDT 49.90 Lac and the Extended Range (420 km) at BDT 55.90 Lac. Both come with a comprehensive warranty, covering the battery, motor, and vehicle for up to 8 years or 160,000 km.
Imtiaz Nawsher emphasized the importance of expanding the EV charging network across Bangladesh, saying, “The country is ready for the EV revolution.”
To celebrate the launch, BYD Bangladesh is hosting ‘Atto 3 Week’ from September 21 to 25, offering attendees a chance to experience the upgraded Atto 3 firsthand.
