The Army Chief’s Parade for the Recruit Batch 2025 of the East Bengal Regiment was held on Wednesday at the East Bengal Regimental Centre (EBRC) in Chattogram Cantonment.
Lt Gen Md Faizur Rahman, Quartermaster General (QMG) of the Bangladesh Army, attended the ceremony as Chief Guest, inspected the parade, and took the salute.
On the same day, another Army Chief’s Parade for the Recruit Batch 2025 of the Armoured Corps was held at the Armoured Corps Centre and School (ACC&S) in Bogura Cantonment.
Maj Gen Touhidul Ahmed, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Bogura Area, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and reviewed the parade.
Through these impressive and disciplined parades, newly trained soldiers of both the East Bengal Regiment and Armoured Corps formally joined the Bangladesh Army.
Addressing the events, the chief guests highlighted the glorious traditions and contributions of the two corps in safeguarding national sovereignty. They urged the new recruits to embrace modern training, remain ready to meet future challenges, and dedicate themselves with discipline, professionalism, and patriotism to the service of the Motherland.
Senior military and civil officials, JCOs, soldiers of various ranks, invited guests, family members of the recruits, and media representatives attended and enjoyed the colourful parades.
