A youth was killed and two others were injured as a human hauler hit a motorcycle in Shyamnagar Upazila of Satkhira on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Mostafizur Rahman, 25, son of Abu Musa Gazi, hailed from Manikpur Village under Shyamnagar Upazila in Satkhira. The accident took place on Shyamnagar-Kaliganj road in front of Chalitaghata Mission.
Officer-In-Charge of Shyamnagar Police Station Nurul Huda said a motorbike carrying Mostafizur and two others collided with a human hauler around 10:30pm, leaving the motor bikers injured.
Mostafizur was rushed to Satkhira Hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.
Two other friends of Mostafizur Kabir Hossain and Hafizur Rahman have been undergoing treatment at Khulna Medical College Hospital.
