Nine women executives (Admin Cadre) have been working under District Administration Office for executing health rules and obeying lockdown among the people in Chuadanga district under the guidance and instruction of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Nazrul Islam Sarker for preventing of COVID-19.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Magistrate, UNO, Assistant Commissioners and Executive Magistrates, Assistant Commissioner (Land), those who are women, have been monitoring markets, bazaars and hats, distributing food items, masks and iftar among people, advising to maintaining health rules with dedication in the district as government officers (Admin cadre) in coronavirus attacking hours.
The sources added,women officials (admin cadre) are performing well at all levels of the civil administration in Chuadanga. Their activities have been increasing according to government orders. On the other hand they are playing a vital role in discharging their duties through honesty and hard work in service in the pandemic period.
It is learnt that working environment of women officials have improved positively as cooperative attitude from male officials and beneficiaries.
Monira Parvin, ADC (general), Sazia Afrin, ADM, Shibani Sarkar, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, Jannatul Ferdous, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, Shuraiya Mamtaz, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, Nur Payara Begum, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, and Rifat Jahan, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate have been working in Deputy Commissioner Office with skills. They are moving different areas of the district for awareness of people about COVID-19.
Dil Ara Rahman, UNO and Executive Magistrate of Damurhuda Upazila and Begum Israt Jahan, Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate inSadar Upazila have been performing their duties with sincere and motivating people to follow the government orders in the period of coronavirus.
Now the civil administration service for women in the field level is very comfortable and females are performing equally like their male colleagues as ADC, ADM, Assistant Commissioner, AC (land) and UNO in the district, it is learnt.
It may be mentioned here that Dil Ara Rahman, UNO of Damurhuda Upazila, has been moving different areas including hats and bazaars for maintaining health rules of people and imposing lockdown in every sector of the upazila.
