An unidentified woman was killed as she was crushed by a moving train at Madhobpur upazila in Habiganj on Wednesday.
The accident took place on the Dhaka-Sylhet railway at Teliapara area of the upazila at about 4:15 pm.
Officer-in-charge of Shayestaganj Railway Police M Sajidur Rahman confirmed the matter.
He said the incident took place as the woman was crushed by the Sylhet-bound train Joyontika Express coming from Dhaka. Police recovered the body.
