A month-long wall Magazine festival has started at Milestone College located in Uttara of the capital. On Tuesday, Principal of the Milestone College Professor Shahidul Islam inaugurated the festival as the chief guest. Vice-Principal and in-charge of Milestone College (Diabari permanent Campus) Mohammad Ziaul Alam and Administrative Director Md. Masud Alam were present in the festival as honorable guests.
87 diverse wall Magazine written by Class XII students studying at Milestone College have been featured in the wall Magazine festival. Through wall magazines written in Bengali and English, students have brought out our history, ancient culture, happiness, sadness and various stories of daily life. The topics of the wall papers written by the students included Bangladesh on the road to development, Metrorail, Bangladeshi heritage, Harmful effects of apartheid, Biomedicine, Astronomy, Day labor, Road safety, Climate change, Child labour, Success in garment industry, Population problem of Bangladesh and Qatar World Cup-2022 etc.
After the inauguration, the Principal Professor Md. Shahidul Islam, Vice-Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam and Administrative Director Md. Masud Alam visited each wall Magazine. During this time, they talked about the issues of the wall Magazine with the students. Students, teachers, Guardians, officers and staffs of the college visited the festival. It should be noted that like every year, this year too, the best wall Magazine-2022 will be announced at the end of the month-long festival.
